Background
Eddie is a Technical Assistant in the Dehns Biotechnology Group. He joined the Dehns Brighton Office in August 2022 after completing a PhD at the University of Bristol. His research investigated the mechanisms by which a putative chromatin remodelling protein protects cells from DNA damage.
Prior to completing his doctorate degree, Eddie obtained a BSc Honours Degree in Biochemistry from Newcastle University. This included an industrial placement year focusing on the discovery of biocatalysis enzymes for synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
