Annabel is a representative before the Unified Patent Court and has over 25 years of experience in filing European oppositions and appeals and defending European patents under opposition and on appeal across a range of chemical technology areas and for a number of different clients.  Her opposition work has included cases relating to pharmaceuticals, personal care products, agrochemicals, polymer resins and blood products.  She is part of the Dehns team that handles EP opposition work for Kimberly-Clark, having been involved in or responsible for over 70 opposition cases in the personal care field for Kimberly-Clark.

Annabel has conducted EPO oppositions where parallel proceedings were ongoing in the USA, and has experience of working with US attorneys to tailor the approach to an EP opposition in light of any US proceedings.

Annabel also handles applications for Supplementary Protection Certificates and provides strategic advice regarding the infringement and validity of UK and EP patents.
